Growing up in Queens New York, Jen Kay knew her quirkiness, outgoing behavior and natural sense of humor belonged on stage. Jen began with many open mics which lead her to the comedy clubs of Manhattan that gave her all the laughter she needed to know stand-up was in her blood.
Due to her dry and sarcastic humor, Jen Kay has been compared to the female version of Steven Wright. Jen has performed at all of the top comedy clubs in Manhattan like Caroline’s, Dangerfield’s, New York Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy Club, and the Greenwich Village Comedy Club. Jen took her humor to the Atlantic City Casinos, and The Mohegan Sun as well as The Funny Bone in Connecticut. Jen opened for celebrity impersonators The Edwards Twins.
Jen was a finalist in New York’s Got Talent, a Semi finalist in Last Comix Standing and on Sirius XM Sway in the Morning radio show live at Carolines. Jen was part of the Best of the Fest in the Burbank Comedy Festival and was a semi-finalist in Last Comix Standing at the Mohegan Sun. Jen has Hosted and Produced comedy shows.
